Magnetic resonance imaging of the soft tissues of the neck is the most accurate and radiation-free examination method that helps to determine the causes of symptoms in the neck and throat area. The examination provides detailed images of the structures in the area, such as the salivary glands, thyroid gland, lymph nodes and muscles.
Magnetic resonance imaging of the neck area also provides more detailed additional information after a previous ultrasound examination, if necessary.
